RIVER
Like Three Men in a Boat or Mole, Ratty and Toad you can cruise, row or punt on many reaches of the River Thames, even on the famous Regatta reach at Henley. Contact Hobbs and Sons to arrange your cruise on the Thames.
WALKING
The public right of way known as Pack and Prime runs beside the parkland on our property and forms a link with the Thames Path, The Ridgeway and in the Stonor Valley is the local Nature Reserve.
The Chiltern Society organises walks on Sundays and Wednesdays with occasional additional walks on other weekdays. Additionally, full day walks on some Wednesdays. Occasionally they organise special interest walks, such as archaeology walks and wild flower walks and usually have a special Christmas walk which is followed by a pub lunch. Enquiries regarding the walks should be directed to Judy Sonley, tel.: 01494 712857
Apart from their walks programme The Chiltern Society produces excellent maps for individuals wishing to organise their own walks in The Thames and Chilterns.
