Hernes Estate
The Hernes Estate lies in the heart of the Thames Valley and the Chilterns, to the west of Henley-on-Thames (the riverside town renowned for the Henley Royal Regatta, the Henley Festival and the Henley Literary Festival) in the pretty village of Rotherfield Greys.
While primarily an agricultural estate, it offers an opportunity for you to

The country properties are surrounded by fields and parkland making an idylic outlook for holidaying, relaxing after a days work or for your working day environment. The town properties are within easy walking distance of Henley town centre where they are a wealth of cultural/sporting and educational activities on offer. The town boasts its own Kenton Theatre, a three screen cinema, a library, a museum and Phyllis Court Club, with its own fitness centre and tennis courts, right on the banks of the River Thames.
Hernes is centrally placed in the south of England which makes exploring this enchanting part of Great Britain, or running a business, very easy and satisfying. Not as well known as the Cotswolds, (though it is within easy reach should you wish to go there) this unsung area is a pearl in the crown of English heritage, and it is waiting to display its charms.
To the south there is the M4 and a rail/air/bus link service and a high speed rail link at Reading (8 miles); Gatwick (62 miles)to the south; High Wycombe and the M40 (12 miles) to the north; Windsor (15 miles); Heathrow (22 miles) and London to the east and Oxford (24 miles); Bath and Stratford upon Avon to the west.
Within a 30 mile radius of Hernes there are a wealth of places to visit and things to do, yet with all this on its doorstep it still manages to evoke a spirit of relaxed peacefulness and gentility.
